Friends may visit on Thursday, December 2, 2010 from 6:00-8:00PM at the chapel of Craig Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Rd. S., Flagler Beach. Entombment will follow his mass at Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens in Flagler Beach.Mario passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at Florida Hospital Flagler. He was born on July 20, 1927 in New Bedford, Mass to the late Alvaro and Ines Teixeira (Rua). In 1993 he and his wife moved to the Palm Coast area from Bridgeport, CT. Mario was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and the Portuguese American Club. He enjoyed gardening and carpentry. His greatest pleasure was spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.Survivors include his wife of 29 years Teresa; son, Ernesto Medina of Palm Coast; sisters, Laura Teixeira of Mass, Virginia Sosa of Brazil; Adelaida Orlando of Tampa; brother, Laurentino Teixeira of Bridgeport, CT; 1 grandchild.Donations in his name may be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.Arrangements are under the trust and care of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.
