A funeral service for Stanley Teller 87, of Palm Coast will be held on Sunday, May 12, 2013, at 1:00PM in the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Rd. S. Flagler Beach.
Stanley passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House. He was born on January 27, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Jacob and Ida Teller (Heller).
As a young man he served in the US Navy during WWII. He was recognized in who's who in American Colleges and Universities, a Graduate of CCNY Bernard Baruch College School of Business. He was a Vice President of sales and special accounts in women's lingerie.
After his retirement he and his wife moved to the Palm Coast area from Croton on Hudson, NY in 1993. His memberships included the VFW Post 8696 in Palm Coast. Stanley enjoyed playing cards, fishing, golfing and doing a little gambling.
Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Rose; children, Madelyn Beth and her husband Alan Teller-Kook of Austin, TX, Arthur and his wife Amy Stokes of Seattle, WA; and granddaughter, Grace Elizabeth Teller; Sisters, Esther Robbins of Scarsdale, NY; Miriam Brody of East Quogue, NY.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House. Arrangements are in the care and trust of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.
