Rocky Thompson

PALM COAST, Fla. - Rocky Thompson of Palm Coast, Fla., formerly of Grasonville and Kent Island, died Dec. 3, 2000 of pancreatic cancer at Shands Hospital (Gainesville, Fla.). He was 49.  

He was born Feb. 17, 1951 in Easton and spent his childhood growing up in Grasonville. As a teenager and adult he lived on Kent Island where he was a waterman and stone mason.  

Mr. Thompson is survived by his parents, Herman A. and Bette B. Thompson, Felton, Del.; a son, Rocky Thompson, and daughter, Tifany T. Porta-Laca, of Palm Coast; three sisters, Cynthia T. Crapster, Ridgely, Wendy B. Thompson, Chester, and Teene Thompson; and a brother, John G. Thompson of Rockville.
