FLAGLER BEACH - John F. Tidwell, 86, of South Fifth Street, a welder at Cape Canaveral, died Sunday at Sandalwood Nursing Center, Daytona Beach.

Born in Flagler County, Mr. Tidwell, an Army veteran of World War II, lived in this area most of his lifetime. He was a member of the Bunnell Masonic Lodge 200 F&AM, the Disabled American Veterans Jim Booe Chapter 86 and the Iron Work­ers & Apprentices Local 808. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Survivors include his wife of four years, Ann.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Craig-Flagler Palms is in charge.


TIDWELL, JOHN FRANK- John Frank Tidwell, 86, 5th Street, Flagler Beach, died Sunday, Dec. 25, 2005, at the Sandalwood Nursing Center, Daytona Beach.

Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, December 29, at Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral, Home, 511 Old, Kings Rd., South, Flagler Beach, with Pastor Bill Elias officiating. Burial will follow the serv­ice at Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens, Flagler Beach.

John was born, June 19, 1919, in Flagler County, to the late William & Elizabeth (Noblett) Tidwell. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

John worked as a welder at Cape Canaveral, was a member of the Iron Workers & Apprentices Local 808, the DAV Jim Booe Chapter 86, Flagler Beach, and the Bunnell Masonic Lodge 200 F&AM, He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

John is survived by his loving wife of four years, Ann Tidwell, Flagler Beach.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
