Ann I. Tillard, a resident of Palm Coast for almost 40 years, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on July 31, 2012. Born in Jersey City, NJ., in 1927 she was a first generation Italian American baptized Anna Immaculato Della Rosa, her life was a continuous act of love and kindness.
She retired from Belk Lindsey after over 20 years of service and enjoyed traveling with her husband Bill who predeceased her 14 years ago. She held a National Insurance license and enjoyed clowning, especially for children. Ann and Bill were proprietors of East Hanover Sweet Shoppe for 10 years.
She is survived by her son Bill (Elaine) Tillard, Ormond Beach; and a daughter Sharon (Dwight) Wiest, Medway, Mass.; five grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received Friday, August 3, 2012 from 4-7 pm. at the Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road South in Flagler Beach, and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Palm Coast, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am. Entombment will follow at the Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens.
