Bernard Tinkoff, 78 of Palm Coast, died, Friday, January 20, 2012 at the Florida Hospital Hospice. Bernard was born December 10, 1933 in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Richard and Anne Tinkoff.

He graduated from Stuyvesant High School and after graduation, served in the US Army. After his honorable discharge from the service, he enrolled at the Bernard Baruch College of Business where he studied accounting and attained his CPA. Initially employed by Coopers & Lybrand, he became a partner in this prestigious firm in 1971.

After years of diligent service, he retired in 1980. Bernie was active in the Palm Coast community and his Temple. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed traveling, wood carving and the company of his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Norma, two sons and daughter, Glen (Lauren) Tinkoff of Landenberg, PA, Adam Tinkoff of Ft Myers, FL, and Wendy (Steven) Tinkoff of Tenafly, NJ., two sisters, Lilly Cerbone of Commack, NY and Estelle (Howard) Brown of Newburgh, NY, and eight grandchildren.
