June 24, 1931 - August 6, 2018

 

 

Nicoletta Torre, 87 of Palm Coast passed away peacefully August 6, 2018 at her home. She was born in Roccella Italy on June 24, 1931 a daughter of Salvatore and Maria Giovanna Loicamo Portale.

A devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, affectionately known as "Nonna", Mrs. Torre loved to sew, crochet, cook, and her bike rides. She immigrated to the United States in 1968 aboard the Christopher Columbus coming through Ellis Island. She raised her family in Mt. Vernon NY and moved to Florida in 1986. She was a member of Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church, and a former member of the Italian American Club of Palm Coast.

On February 11, 1956 she married Paolo Torre, who preceded her in death on November 2, 2017. She also was preceded in death by a grandson, Paulie DiBella and a brother and sister.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Rosario DiBella of Palm Coast, three grandchildren, Aggie Goodman and her husband Larry of Lake Mary FL, Lina Williams and her husband Rob of Bunnell and Joey DiBella and his wife Lindsay of Palm Coast and four great grandchildren who were the loves of her life, Sammy, Gina, Chloe and Micah.

Family and Friends will be received on Thursday, August 9, 2018 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM in the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, Flagler Beach.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM in Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in Flagler Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House 150 Memorial Medical Parkway, Palm Coast FL 32164 in memory of Mrs. Torre.
