PALM COAST -- Victor Torres, 93, of Palm Coast Parkway, a retired laborer in the shipping department of Harris Intertype, died Wednesday at Memorial Hospital- Flagler, Bunnell.
Mr. Torres was born in Yauco, Puerto Rico, and moved here in 1987 from Kings Park, N.Y. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Council on Aging. He was a deacon for Palm Coast Bible Church and an elder for the Presbyterian Church, Brooklyn, N.Y. A "green thumb" in the garden, he also enjoyed cooking, singing in the church choir, bowling and playing softball and baseball.
Survivors include a daughter, RoseAnna Robles, Palm Coast; two grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren.
