BUNNELL - Nazhla J. Trad, 94, North Anderson Street, a resident since 1926, died Friday at Humana Hospital, Daytona Beach.
Mrs. Trad was born in Chicago and moved here from Daytona Beach. She was active in community affairs. She was instrumental in the formation of American Legion Post 115 Auxiliary and was a past president. She was a poll worker for Flagler County and a member of the Memorial Hospital Flagler Pink Ladies, Haw Creek Women's Club, Gold Star Mothers Club and St. Stephens Catholic Church.
Survivors include three sons, Louis Jr., Jacksonville, Sam L., Bunnell, and Charles L., Flagler Beach; four daughters, Martha Kiley, Bunnell, Kay Collins, South Daytona, Ann Milholland, Bradenton, and Jeanette Anderson, Atlanta; a brother, Joe Jabaly, Daytona Beach; two sisters, Anne Veale, Daytona Beach, and Martha Demetry, Miami; 22 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of other remembrances, the family suggests donations be made to the Florida Sheriffs' Youth Ranch, Boys Ranch, Fla., 32060; St. Stephen's Catholic Church, c/o Mother Seton Catholic Church, P.O. Box 350801, Palm Coast, 32135; or the American Heart Association, 345 Beville Road, Daytona Beach 32119.

TRAD, NAZHLA A. - Funeral Mass for Nazhla J. Trad, 94, North Anderson Street, Bunnell, who died Monday, will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Bunnell. The Rev. Fred Parke, pastor, will be celebrant. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday (today) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a prayer service to be conducted at 7 p.m.
Mrs. Trad was born in Chicago and moved to Daytona Beach in 1925 from Milwaukee before moving to Flagler County in 1926 with her late husband Louis N. Trad Sr. She was one of the longest living residents of Flagler County.
Mrs. Trad was active in community affairs and was instrumental in the formation of American Legion Post 115 Auxiliary, of which she was a past president. Mrs. Trad was a poll worker for Flagler County Supervisor of Elections, a member of the Memorial Hospital Flagler Pink Ladies, the Haw Creek's Women's Club and a very active member of both Gold Star Mothers and St. Stephen's Catholic Church.
She is predeceased by her twin sons, Michael and Peter.
Survivors include four daughters, Martha Kiley, Bunnell, Fla., Kay Collins, South Daytona, Fla., Ann Milholland, Bradenton, Fla., Jeanette Anderson, Atlanta; three sons, Louis Trad Jr., Jacksonville, Fla.; Sam L. Trad, Bunnell, Charles L. Trad, Flagler Beach, Fla.; two sisters, Anne Veale, Daytona Beach, Martha Demetry, Miami; one brother, Joe Jabaly, Daytona Beach; 22 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
