A funeral mass celebrating the life of Rita Trouton, 81, of Palm Coast will be held on Friday, December 17, 2010; 10:30AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 4600 Belle Terre Pkwy Palm Coast. Friends may visit on Thursday, December 16, from 6:00-8:00pm in the memorial room at the church. Interment will follow the funeral mass at Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens.

Rita passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at her home. She was born on December 19, 1928 in Queens, New York to the late Frederick and Mary Platt (Tulkovic). She held positions with American Chicle Co. and the Singer Co. in Syosset, L.I. in their Accounts Receivable, Payable and Credit Depts. Member of Mother Seton Catholic Church and the Ladies Guild. Rita enjoyed Tennis and Golf and is a member of Belle Terre Swim and Racket Club and a former member of the Players Tennis Club and Palm Harbor Women's Golf Association. She was dedicated to promoting better health in herself and also her family. Rita also enjoyed reading, swimming and playing piano.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, John Trouton on July 21, 2002. Survivors include her daughter, Gail and her husband, Bob Heart of Palm Coast; and two grandchildren, Karen of Salt Lake City, UT and Gregory of Palm Coast.

Arrangements are in the care and trust of Craig Flagler Palms Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The Flagler County Library.
