A funeral service for Marilyn Valentin 49, of Palm Coast will be held on Friday, April 3, 2015, 1:00PM at the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home. Friends may visit on Friday from 11:00AM until service time. Interment is to follow the service at Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens where she will be laid to rest next to her father.

Marilyn passed away on Monday, March 30, 2015 after a brave battle with cancer. She was born on June 29, 1965 in Jersey City, NJ. She spent a good portion of her life in Puerto Rico and moved to the Palm Coast area in 2001. Marilyn worked as a Print Programmer at Palm Coast Data for over 15 years.

She was a loving a devoted mother whose world revolved around her children and adoptive children. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Marilyn was preceded in death by her father Alejandro Valentin in April of 2014.  

Survivors include her children, William and his wife Jacqueline Carattini, Samantha Carattini, Miranda Carattini and Gabriella Abreu all of Palm Coast; mother, Aida Barreto of Puerto Rico; brothers, Alejandro, Edwin and Edward Valentin and 1 grandchild on the way. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
