Jaime Antonio Vega, 87, of Barceloneta, Puerto Rico, passed away on April 10, 2015 of natural causes at his home in Palm Coast, Florida.

Visitation and Funeral service were held at Craig Flagler Palms Funeral Home, Flagler Beach, Florida on Tuesday with Pastor David Stidham of Central Church of Christ of Flagler County officiating. Burial followed at Craig Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens, Flagler Beach, Florida.

32nd. Degree Mason, Jaime Vega was born in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico to Francisco and Eulogia Vega on April 15, 1927. He went to school at Jose Gomez Brioso in Santurce, Puerto Rico and graduated in 1946. He went on to earn Master Electrician License No. 614 in 1947. He became a 32nd Degree Mason in 1965. Jaime worked as an Electrician, Contractor, and Inspector, and retired as Electrical Systems Supervisor for the Puerto Rico Medical School in 1987. A devoted Christian, Jaime was actively involved in church activities and enjoyed sports, traveling, and spending time with his family.

Jaime is preceded in death by his father and mother, Francisco and Eulogia Vega, sisters Lydia Lopez, Mercedes Burgos, Margot Acevedo, and Aida Vega.

Jaime is survived by his wife Isabel Vega, his three children, Evelyn Mercado, Doris Hernandez, and Jaime Vega Jr., and his sisters Ana Arroyo, and Dina Vega.
