A Funeral Mass celebrating the life of Luis "Papa" Villegas Jr. 64, of Palm Coast will be celebrated on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 10:30AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church 4600 Belle Terre Parkway Palm Coast. He passed away on Monday, September 29, 2008.

Luis was born on February 12, 1944 in San Juan, Puerto Rico to the late Luis and Angelina Villegas (Rivera). After his retirement as a comptroller for Presbyterian Hospital in New York he and his late wife moved to the Palm Coast area from Manhattan, NY in 1998. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and was an avid sports fan. So much so that he coached Palm Coast Little League. His memberships included St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Luis is preceded in death by his wife Sara Villegas in 2004.

Survivors include daughters, Elena and her husband Tim Prendergast; Lisa and her husband Luis Sifonte of Palm Coast and Elizabeth Villegas all of Palm Coast; sister Gloria Dejesus of Bethlehem, PA; grandchildren, Luis, Gabriela, Joshua, Christina, Rebekah, Jonathan and all those he adopted.
