PALM COAST - William J. Watson, 71, Belvedere Lane, an engineer for RCA before his retirement, died Saturday at home. 

Mr. Watson, a Navy veteran of World War II, was born in Camden, N.J., and came here in 1979 from Bridgeville, N.J. He was a member of St. Marks by the Sea Lutheran Church, Palm Coast Lions Club and Alumni of Rutgers State University. He enjoyed golf and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. 

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Dorothy; three daughters, Connie Whitehead, Daytona Beach, Cynthia Tallon, Nashville, and Patricia Ozmeral, Sparia, N.Y.; and seven grandchildren.
