DELAND - Edward C. Watters, III, 89, of East Howry Avenue, an engineer for the U.S. government, working with Navy, before his retirement, died Friday at Florida Hospital-DeLand.
Mr. Watters, a Navy veteran of World War II, was born in Kansas City, Mo., and came here in 1985 from Annapolis, Md. He was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, Palm Coast. He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a degree in engineering.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Ward, Palm Coast; two grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren.
