Joan Weatherbee, 83, of Ormond Beach, Florida, passed away after a long battle with cancer on August 6, 2017 at the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House. She was born on October 12, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY.

She married the love of her life Will "Bill" T. Weatherbee and shared their lives together for 61 years. In1973 she and her husband moved to the Ormond Beach area from Long, Island, NY. Joan attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Korona for over 20 years.

Survivors include her sons, Will (Kathy) Weatherbee of Edgewater, FL; James (Eileen) Weatherbee of Chesapeake; brother, Robert McCluskey of Manorville New York.

Donations in her memory may be made to: St. Mary's Catholic Church.

A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 10:00-11:00AM at the chapel of Craig-Flalger Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road South, Flagler Beach, FL. 32136. The service will begin at 11:00AM followed by an inurnment at Flagler Memorial Gardens.
