Memorial services for Jack Wiggins, 77, of Palm Coast, FL a former 33 years resident of Orange Park will be held on Friday, Feb. 10 at11:30 AM in the First Baptist Church of Orange Park, 1140 Kingsley Ave., Orange Park with a reception to follow in the social hall of the church, Military Honors will be rendered by the U, S. Navy Honor Guard.

Mr. Wiggins passed away on January30, 2006 at his home with his family. Born on May 15, 1928 in Greenwood, AK a son of the late Rooney and Faye Kehoe Wiggins, he served in the US Navy for 24 years retiring in 1971 as a Lt. Commander, was the director of transportation for Clay County Schools from 1971 to 1979 and worked for P.I. E. Nationwide as the maintenance system manager retiring in 1990 and had worked for Winn Dixie in his spare time.

Mr. Wiggins was a master mason in the Masonic Lodge, a member of the Shrine and an Ordained Baptist Deacon in Millington TN. He was known for his gardening talents and his willingness to help others.

A loving husband and father he is survived by his wife Kay, a son Bill of Orange Park, three daughters, Sharon Rogers of Tampa FL, Karen “Susie” Wiggins of Atlanta, GA and Kathy Doucette of Flagler Beach, FL, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The family suggests contributions to the charity of one’s choice.
