Thursday, September 4, 1969Thomas Gillyard, 72, long-time resident of here, died last Wednesday night at Bunnell General Hospital.
He was born in Columbia, S. C. and moved to Flagler County 42 years ago. He was a veteran of WW I and was a retired employee of the Florida East Coast Railroad. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 161, Bunnell and a member of St. James Baptist Church where he served as deacon.
Survivors include his wife, Lula; two sons, Robert and Oscar; a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Hubbert; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
