The Rev. Willie Hymon, 72, of Bunnell, died July 18, 2006, at Florida Hospital-Flagler. Rev. Hymon was a native of Neoga and was a lifelong resident of Flagler County. Rev. Hymon was former pastor of New St. James Baptist Church of Bunnell for 21 years, former president of Union St. James, a member of Espanola Lodge No. 161 and the F & AM Palm Coast Men's Breakfast Club. 

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at New St. James Baptist Church. Calling hours: 6-8 p.m. today at the church and on Saturday from 9:30-11 a.m. at the church. Officiating: The Rev. Patrick Wilkerson, pastor. Burial: Masonic Cemetery, Palm Coast. 

Survivors: One son, Rev. Elijah Emanuel, Palm Coast; daughters, Paulette Hymon, Daytona Beach, Patricia Graham, Alapha, Ga., Dora Giddens, Palm Coast, Barbara Hymon, Bunnell; one brother, Prince McDougle, St. Augustine; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral service for the Rev. Willie Hymon, 72, East Drain Street, Bunnell, who died July 18, 2006, at Florida Hospital Flagler, Palm Coast, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 22 at St. James Baptist Church, Bunnell, with the Rev. Patrick Wilkerson, pastor, officiating. Burial will take place at Masonic Cemetery, Palm Coast.

Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today (Friday, July 21) at St. James Baptist Church, Bunnell.
The Rev. Hymon was born in Neoga (West Flagler County), Fla., and moved to this area in his early childhood. He was former pastor at St. James Baptist Church, retiring in 2003 after 21 years as pastor. He was a member of Espanola Lodge No. 161 F&AM, the Palm Coast Men's Breakfast Club, past President of Union St. James Baptist Association, and retired in 1995 from Flagler County Schools, where he served as custodian at Flagler Palm Coast High School.

Survivors include his daughters, Paulette Hymon, Daytona Beach, Patricia A. Graham, Alapaha, Ga., Minister Dora Giddens, Palm Coast, and Barbara Hymon, Bunnell; brother, Prince McDougle, St. Augustine; son, Pastor Elijah Emanuel, Palm Coast; ten grandchildren; and other relatives.
