Diana Verdell-Jones, 42, died Sept. 29, 2001, in Flagler Hospital. She was born in Bunnell on Dec. 7, 1958, and she attended Carver High School in Bunnell. 

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Lord's Temple Church, Hastings, with the Rev. Charles Ferguson officiating. . Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery, Palm Coast. 

Friends may call at Spirit of Truth Holiness Church, Bunnell, from noon to 1 p.m., Friday, and at Coleman's Mortuary, Hastings, from 5 to 9 p.m., Friday. Calling hours at the Lord's Temple are from 10 a.m. Saturday until the hour of services. 

Survivors include her husband, Anthony Jones; two daughters, Rawana Verdell-Mitchell, Tanika Jones; two stepdaughters, Thewanya Jones, Francesca Jones; her father, Horace (Freddie) Verdell; three sisters, Paulette Robinson, Debra Thompson, Mary Lee Verdell; five brothers, Frank, Luther, John, Carl and Jermaine Verdell; six grandchildren and other relatives, including stepbrother Julius Ferguson; and stepsisters, Sheila James, Mary Ayers and Lisa DeBarac.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Horace Verdell Jr.
