PALM COAST -- Rachel Thomas, 87, of Underwood Trail, a native of Jefferson City, died Feb. 24 at home.

Mrs. Thomas, a homemaker, was a member of St. James Baptist Church, Bunnell, where she served on the Ushers Board.

Survivors include four sons, Charles and Albert Hall, both of Palm Coast, Vandy Hall, Ewing, N.J., and Freddy Carter, Hamilton, N.J.; five daughters, Mary Alexander, Palm Coast, Rose Washington, Daytona Beach, Cynthia Hall, Bunnell, Sarah Smith, Willingboro, N.J., and Gloria Stevens, Hamilton, N.J.; two brothers, Henry and Fred Brock, and two sisters, Martha Brock and Betty Sailor, all of New York City; 31 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.

Chase Funeral Home, St. Augustine, is in charge.
