Mary Lee White, 76, of Palm Coast, Fla., died July 23, 2009, at Grand Oaks Rehabilitation Center following a long illness. She was born Oct. 5, 1937, to Louis and Mary Phillips in Espanola, Fla. She would attend schools in Flagler County and live most of her life in Flagler and in St. Johns counties. During her life, she worked in housekeeping for a local motel. She was a member of New Hope Holiness Church of Christ. Mary was known by many as Ms. Mary or Aunt Mary because she possessed a heart of gold and was ready to share with the world.
She leaves to cherish her, one loving and devoted sister, Pastor Pauline and Elder Randell Mitchell of Palm Coast; one son, Louis Johnson, Kissimmee, Fla.; and one granddaughter, Olivia Johnson, Orlando.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at New Hope Holiness Church of Christ, Apostle Quinton Dames officiating. Burial will follow at Masonic Cemetery in Palm Coast. Viewing will be Friday from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the church and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.
