Mary Jane Bateman, 75, of Hastings, Fla., died Jan, 27, 2008, at Moultrie Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in St. Augustine.
Mrs. Bateman was a native and lifelong resident of Hastings and had worked with the John Deere dealership for 12 years, as well as at Rumbold's RVE, both in Hastings, and Deford's service station in Bunnell, Fla. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hastings.
Services: Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Pellicer Creek Cemetery in St. Johns County. Officiating: The Rev. Rudy Howard. Calling hours: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home of Palatka.
Survivors: Her children, Jody Bateman and Beth Ryan, both of Satsuma, Fla., LuAnne Burton, Columbia, S.C., and Paul Bateman, St. Augustine; seven grandchildren.
