THE FLAGLER TRIBUNE
Bunnell, Florida
Thursday, March 10, 1932

George R. Burnsed, aged about 85 years, died in the Flagler hospital early Monday morning after an illness of several months.

Mr. Burnsed was one of the real old pioneers of this section of the state, coming here from Georgia when he was a small lad, and lived in this immediate section of Florida until his death.

The deceased has no members of his immediate family living here and but little is known of his distant relatives. He made his home here for the past several years with his niece, Mrs. A. L. West, and was taken from her home to the hospital where he died a few days previously.

The body was prepared for burial by The Craig Funeral Home of St. Augustine and was laid to rest in the Pellicer Creek cemetery Tuesday morning.

Rev. J. M. DeVette, pastor .of the local Baptist church delivered the funeral sermon at the grave while the local Masonic lodge, of which the deceased was the oldest member for many years, conducted the burial service.
