Cecil Hyatt Cody

Cecil Hyatt Cody, 90, of Fletcher, N.C., formerly of St, Augustine, died March 10, 2004, at Park Ridge Hospital, Fletcher, N.C. He was born in Kissimmee and has resided in St. Augustine since 1954, before moving to North Carolina. He was a member of Ancient City Baptist Church. He had worked as an electrician for more than 30 years for the Florida East Coast Railway and Seaboard Railroad.

Graveside services will be held today at Pellicer Creek Cemetery, the Reverend Gerald Williamson, Hospice Chaplain, officiating. Those wishing to make a contribution in his memory are asked to do so to Four Seasons Hospice, P.O. Box 2395, Hendersonville, N.C. 28793.

He was preceded in death by one grandchild, two brothers, two sisters, Earl and Clyde Cody and Inez Leonardy and Elsie Lyng.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Catherine; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Tavie Webb, Anita Hall and husband, Clement, Carol Bagwell and husband, Kenneth, and Bonnie Seyle; 10 grandchildren and one great­grandchild.
