Energy Cruse

Funeral services for Energy Cruse, 76, of Hastings, who died Monday in a Palatka hospital, will be held at 10 a.m., Friday in the Johnson-Davis Funeral Home chapel in Palatka. Burial will be in Pellicer Creek Cemetery. The Rev. Wayne Thomas, pastor of Christ United Methodist Church of Hastings will officiate.

He had been a resident of Hastings for 50 years and was retired from the State Road Department.

He was a Mason.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Clarice Cruse, Hastings; three sons, Leonard E. Cruse, Columbus, Ga., Reese Cruse, San Diego, Calif., and Edward LeRoy Cruse, U.S. Navy, Jacksonville; a sister, Mrs. Sarah F. Martin, Jacksonville. Also surviving are eight step­children, Meek Lee, St. Augustine, Jack Lee, Mantua, Ohio, Billy and Tommy Lee, Hastings, Joe Lee, Palatka, Mrs. Frances Moore, Dothan, Ala., Mrs. Ellen Owen, Hastings, Mrs. Patsy Johnson, Palatka, and 21 step­grandchildren.
