September 4, 2000Harold Joseph Curlee, 70, of St. Augustine, died Sept. 1 at Flagler Hospital. He was born in Green Cove Springs and was a life-long resident. He worked at NAS as an aircraft mechanic, and he was a veteran of the Navy. He was of the Catholic faith.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, Sept. 6, at Pellicer Creek Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Craig Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife Erma Jean Curlee of St. Augustine; four daughters Tracy Ross, Suzette Gardner and Letitia Haney of St. Augustine and Desiree Ownby of Green Cove Springs; four sisters Imogene Daniels, Betty Sue Stewert and Helen Fazio of St. Augustine and Jeanette Deshotel of Port Nachaz, Texas; one brother Ozzie Curlee, Jr. of St. Augustine and seven grandchildren.
