Funeral services for George Everett DuPont, DuPont Center, who died Monday in a local hospital, were held at 9 a.m. today in the Cathedral, with the Rev. Father James Bluett offi­ciating. Burial was in Pellicer Creek Cemetery, Pallbearers were Harold Capo, Jim DuPont, Francis Reimer, Andy DuPont, Ray Langston and Albert Lopez.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Donnie DuPont, two daughters, Mrs. Geraldine Griffith, Miami, Mrs. Marguerite Spears, Jacksonville; four sisters, Miss Nell DuPont, Mrs. Ida Durrance, Mrs. Allene Capo, Mrs. Ada Mickler, all of DuPont Center; two brothers Frank DuPont, DuPont Center, Will DuPont, Crescent Beach; and five grandchildren.

Craig Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
