PALM COAST MAN KILLED BY TRUCK ON I-95
PALM COAST - A Palm Coast man was killed when he stepped in front of a tractor-trailer rig on Interstate 95, the Florida Highway Patrol said. Dean Eatman, 34, was standing beside his pickup on an emergency shoulder at 9 a.m. Sunday in Palm Coast when he stepped off the shoulder and into the path of a trucker heading south, the FHP said. The truck driver, Thomas G. Tiller of Ohio, tested negative for alcohol, Fleming said. Eatman was an assistant manager for meat products at Publix. Services will handled by Craig Funeral Home at a time and place yet to be scheduled.
EATMAN, BLAIRDEAN-Graveside service for Blair Dean Eatman, 34, Palm Coast, will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, at Pellicer Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Glenn Kite officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, at the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road South, Flagler Beach.

EATMAN, BLAIR DEAN - Graveside service for Blair Dean Eatman, 34, Palm Coast, who died Sunday, Sept 4, 2005, in Palm Coast, will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, at Pellicer Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Glenn Kite officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of CraigFlagler Palms Funeral Home, Flagler Beach. Mr. Eatman was born in Aug. 17, 1971, in St. Augustine and lived most of his life in Flagler County. He was an assistant meat department manager for Publix Supermarkets. Survivors include his wife, Rebecca (Hubbard) Eatman, whom he married in 1999; father, Stuart Eatman, New Smyrna Beach; mother, Mary Anderson, Bunnell; son, Brandon, Palm Coast; two daughters, Christy Eatman, Ft. Myers, and Jessica Eatman, Palm Coast; sister, Stacie Eatman, Bunnell; and two brothers, Kyle and Brady Eatman, both of Bunnell. Arrangements are in the care of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.
