EATMAN, EDWARD WILLARD – A graveside service for Mr. Edward Willard Eatman, Sr., 64, of 1327 S. Flagler Ave., Flagler Beach, who died Friday in Bunnell General Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Pellicer Creek Cemetery. Rev. Max Hall, pastor of the Flagler Beach Baptist Church, will officiate, assisted by Rev. C. W. Barnes. 

Mr. Eatman was a lifelong resident of Flagler County, having been born there while Flagler County was still a part of St. Johns County. He was a retired carpenter. 

Survivors include his wife, Maggie; two sons, Stuart and E. W., Jr., both of Bunnell; five sisters, Mrs. Etta Jones and Mrs. Thelma DuPont, both of Bunnell; Miss Zackie Eatman of Daytona Beach; Miss Josephine Eatman of Flagler Beach; Mrs. Louise Blount of Hastings, New York; two brothers, Truman of St Augustine; and Worth of East Palatka; six grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. 

Calling hours are from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday, and from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Monday. 

Craig Funeral Home, Bunnell, is in charge of arrangements.

E. W. Eatman Dies Friday In Bunnell

Edward Willard Eatman, 64, Flagler Beach, died Friday afternoon in Bunnell General Hospital.

A native of St. Johns County, he had resided in Flagler Beach for most of his life. He was a retired carpenter.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday at Pellicer Creek Cemetery, with the Rev. Max Hall, pastor of Flagler Beach Baptist Church, officiating, assisted by the Rev. C. W. Barnes. Friends may call at the chapel of the Craig Funeral Home in Bunnell from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday, and from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m., Monday.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Maggie Eatman, Flagler Beach; two sons, Stuart and E. W. Eatman Jr., both of Bunnell; five sisters, Mrs. Etta Stone, Mrs. Thelma DuPont, both of Bunnell, Miss Zackie Eatman, Daytona Beach, Miss Josephine Eatman, Flagler Beach, Mrs. Louise Blount, Hastings, N.Y.; two brothers, Truman Eatman, St. Augustine, and Worth Eatman, Palatka. Six grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

WILLARD EATMAN, SR. PIONEER RESIDENT, DIED FRIDAY

Edward Willard, Eatman, sr., 64, 1327 South Flagler Avenue, Flagler Beach, pioneer resident of Flagler Coun­ty, died Friday afternoon at Bunnell General Hospital.

A native of Flagler County, he was born at Matanzas, north of Flagler Beach. He was a retired carpenter.

He is survived by his wife, Maggie; two sons, Stuart and E. W., Jr., both of Bunnell; five sisters, Mrs. Etta, Jones, Mrs. Thelma Dupont, both of Bunnell, Miss Zackie Eatman, Daytona Beach, Miss Jose­phine Eatman, Flagler Beach, and Mrs. Louise Blount, Hastings, N. Y.; two brothers, Tru­man, St Augustine, and Worth, East Palatka; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside funeral services were Monday afternoon at 2:00 at Pellicer Creek Cemetery. The Rev. Max Hall, pastor of Flagler Beach First Baptist Church, assisted by the Rev. C. W. Barnes, Flagler Beach officiated.

Active pallbearers were Jasper Braddock, Clinton Giddens, Zeno Eatman, Russell Dupont, J. D. Dupont and Robert Trump. Honorary pallbearers were George Wickline, Lewis Woods, C. B. Eisenbach, Raymond Smith, Jimmy Rewis, Ralph Brooks and Bill Tidwell.
