Clyde Wesley Edwards, 68, of St. Augustine, passed away Monday, Dec. 22, 2008, at his home.
He was born and lived all of his life in St. Augustine. He was a loving father, grandfather and friend and a devoted family man.

He is survived by his loving children, Sally Clark, Mary Jones and Jeff Edwards; sister, Dorothy Kersey; brothers, Ray Edwards and David Edwards; mother of his children, Minnie Kersey Hagan; and brothers-in-law, Joe and Alton Kersey; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Joanna Anderson; son, Jimmy Edwards; and brothers, R. E. (Nippy) and George Edwards.

The viewing will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Craig Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Pellicer Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House or to Wolfson Children's Hospital, Jacksonville, Fla.
