Arthur Franklin Dies; Funeral To Be Monday

Arthur Willard Franklin, 50, Hastings, died Thursday morning at his home. A native of Spartanburg County, S.C., he had resided here for five years.

He was a locksmith, and he was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of Paxon Revival Center, Jacksonville.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, at Masters Memorial Chapel, Palatka, with the Rev. Jimmie. Dobbs and the Rev. Steve Dobbs of the revival center, officiating. Burial will be in Pellicer Creek, Hastings.

Friends may call at the Masters Memorial Chapel from 7 to 9 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Wanda Keeter Franklin, Hastings; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Franklin, Converse, S.C.; two daughters, Miss Charlotte Franklin, Hastings, Mrs. Margaret Stephens, Easley, S.C.; two sons, Steve and Ronnie Franklin, Easley; three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Strickland, Chesnee, S.C., Mrs. Rachael White, Converse. Mrs. Betty Jean Ward, Kansas City. Kan.; two brothers, James Franklin, Lyman, S.C., John Franklin, Spartanburg, S.C.; and six grandchildren.
