William John Gordon, 88-year­old resident of the northeastern section of Flagler County, died about 10 o'clock this morning in Glendale Hospital in Palatka.

Mr. Gordon, who lived with Jack Braddock on the late Aussie Eatman homestead, fell early Tuesday morning from an up­stairs porch to the ground.  He was carried to Glendale Hospital and apparently had no broken bones, but could not give a coherent story of his fall. He had been resting easily it was re­ported, until his death this morning.

Although a native of Georgia, Mr. Gordon had lived in this section of Florida for about 50 years, and was well known to all of the old-time residents here.

So far as can be learned there are no survivors.

Funeral services will be, held at 2:30 Friday afternoon (tomor­row) at Pellicer Creek Cemetery, with Carl Davis Funeral Home of Palatka in charge of arrangements.
