Herbert Francis (Foots) Gray

A former Flagler County resident Herbert (Foots) Gray, 58, Federal Point, was killed late Sunday night when his car overturned on I-95 after a rear-end collision that sent eight persons to the hospital. His wife, Beryl, was admitted to Bunnell General Hospital for treatment.

Gray lived in Flagler Beach for many years, where he worked as a well digger and was employed by Lehigh Portland Cement Company. He was born in Geneva, Ohio and moved to Federal Point 3 years ago from Flagler Beach. He was a farmer in Federal Point and a member of Putnam County Farm Bureau.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 Thursday (today) at Hastings First Baptist Church.
