Mrs. Smith Dies; Resided In Hastings

Mrs. Dubignion J. "Buddie" Smith, 63, Hastings, died Thursday night at Glendale Hospital, Palatka.
A native of Alabama, she had resided in Florida since she was a small child, spending most of her life in Tocoi. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hastings. She also held membership in the Eastern Star No. 48, Hastings.

For many years, she operated Freeman's Dry Goods Store in Hastings.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, at the Johnson-Davis Funeral Home, Palatka. Burial will be in Pellicer Creek Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, T. Hyden Smith, Hastings; two sons, Tommy H. Smith Jr., Hastings, Jerry Lee Smith, Miami; one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Ellen Cullen, Chrisfield, Md.; two grand­children and several nieces and nephews.
