Mrs. Louise Kersey

Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Kersey, 75, Hastings, who died Friday in Bunnell General Hospital, were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, at the chapel of the Craig Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dan Smith, pastor of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was in Pellicer Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers were Joe Kersey, Alton Kersey, Benjamin Cauley Jr., Buddy Eatman, Clifford Wetherington and George Wetherington.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Kersey, Hastings; four daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Eatman, East Palatka, Mrs. Gianetta May Harding, Indianapolis, Ind., Mrs. Anna Belle Whitten, Atlanta, Ga., Mrs. Stella F. Cauley, Bunnell; two sons, Jack Kersey Jr., Theodore W.O. Kersey, both of St. Augustine; one sister, Mrs. Flora Mae Crosby, East Palatka; two brothers, P. L. Bain­bridge, Melrose, William Bainbridge, Palatka: 25 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great, grandchildren.

Craig Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Louise Kersey, 75, Hastings, passed away Friday, Apri1 29 at Bunnell General Hospital.

A native of Ware County, Ga., she moved to St Johns County 60 Years ago. She was a member of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her husband, Jack, four daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Eatman, E. Palatka; Mrs. Gianetta Mae Harding Indianapolis, Ind.; Mrs. Anna Belle Whiten, Atlanta,  Ga.; and Mrs. Stella Cauley, Bunnell; two sons, Jack, Jr. and Theodore, both of St. Augustine; one sister, Mrs. Flora Mae Crosby, E. Palatka; two brothers, P.O. Bainbridge of Melrose and Wm. Bainbridge of Palatka. Twenty-five grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services were held 1 p.m., Tuesday in the Craig Funeral Home Chapel at St. Augustine, with the Rev. Dan Smith, pastor of Mt. Olive Baptist Church officiating. Interment was in Pellicer Creek Cemetery.
