CHARLES MISSINNE PASSED AWAY FRIDAY


Charles John Missinne, 50, 144 Palm Circle, Flagler Beach, passed away Friday night at Bunnell General­ Hospital after a brief illness.

He was born in South Range, Wisconsin and moved to F1agler County 12 years ago from Superior, Wisconsin. He was a retired barber, a veteran of WW II, a member of St. Stephens Catholic Church, Jim Booe Chapter No. 86 DAV, American Legion Post 115, .and the Barbers Union, Local 984, Daytona Beach.

Survivors include his wife, Marietta; four daughters, Mrs. Peggy Pellicer, Bunnell, Miss Molly Missinne, Flagler Beach, Miss Deanna Missinne, Switzerland, and Mrs. Robert Stevenson, Kalamazoo, Mich.; three sons, Tommy, Superior, Wisc.; Mike, Lowery AFB, Colo., Robert, Flagler, Beach; six sisters. Mrs. Germaine Walberg, Ocoee, Mrs. John Hassell, Roanoke, Va., Mrs. Emily Daniels, Baltimore, Mrs. Janet Williams, McLean, Va., Mrs. Richard Farley, New Jersey, and Mrs. Karl Sarko, Superior; four brothers, Morris, Sonny, Frank and Robert, all of Superior, Wisc.; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were Tuesday morning at 10:00 at St. Stephens Catholic Church with Rev. Father W. C. Bayer, officiating. Graveside military service was conducted by DAV Jim Booe Chapter at Pellicer Creek Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Dan Daniels, James Daniels, George Moss, Billy Walberg, Jerry Walberg and Dan Bede. Honorary pallbearers were Doug Pierce. Hubert Pellicer, Grover Smith, George Strickland, W. W. Deen, J. B. Pellicer, Dr. John M. Canakaris and Dr. Russell P. Blanton.

Craig Funeral Home, Bunnell was in charge.
