Elease Hodge Palmer, 86, of St. Augustine, died May 9, 2007, at Ponce de Leon Care Center. Mrs. Palmer was a native of Coffee County, Ga., and had resided in St. Augustine since 1967. Mrs. Palmer was a homemaker.

Services: 10 a.m. Monday at Craig Funeral Home Chapel. Calling hours: 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Craig Chapel. Burial: Pellicer Cemetery.

Survivors: Her son, Wayne Scarborough, Hastings; daughter, Debbie Palmer, Welaka, Reba Floyd, Elkton and Jackie Williams, St. Augustine; brother, Mackie Hodge, Augusta, Ga.; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Julia Scarborough, nine sisters and brothers and one great-grandson, C.J. Cruikshank.
