Mrs. Ida Parker Of Daytona Beach Passes Away

Mrs. Ida Carter Parker, of Daytona Beach, passed away Wednesday night at the age of 82. She was a native of the Cartersville section but had resided in Volusia County since 1899. She was a member of· the Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Parker, Daytona Beach; seven sisters: Mrs. Mabel Bayliss, Melrose; Mrs. C. C. Middleton, Clearwater; Mrs. Edna Godwin, Miami; Mrs. Alice Pickett, Jacksonville; Mrs. Ella Morrow, of Madison; Mrs. W. A. Cubbedge and Mrs. Eva Thomas, both of St. Augustine.

Also four daughters, Mrs. Reba Vincent, Mrs. Fay Folsom, Mrs. Eva Hutchinson, all, of Daytona and Mrs. Alma Bond, of Indianapolis, Indiana; three sons, Clyde, of Indianapolis; Holis, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, and Charles H. of Ormond Beach. Also one brother, Theo, Carter, West Point, Pleasant, New Jersey and 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren survive.

Funeral services will be held at the graveside in Pellicer Creek Cemetery at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon with the Reverend C. J. Craig officiating.

Garcia Funeral Home, of St. Augustine will be in charge of arrangements.

MRS. C. A. PARKER DIES AT 81 

Mrs. Charles A. Parker, 81, 1335 Eugene Black St., died Wednesday after a long illness. 

A native of Cartersville, Mrs. Parker came to Holly Hill after her marriage in 1889. There she was active in organizing the Holly Hill Union Church and served as a school trustee. 

She moved to Flagler Beach in 1926 and came to Daytona Beach in 1955. 

Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Alma Bond, Indianapolis, Mrs. Eva Hutchinson, Faye Folsom and Mrs. Reba Vincent, Daytona Beach; three sons, Clyde, Indianapolis; Holis, of Fredericksburg, Va., and Charles H. of Ormond Beach. 18 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. 

Graveside service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Pellicer Creek Cemetery with Rev. Graig, St. Augustine, officiating.
