Katherine E. Payne, 74, passed away September 11, 2017. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her family dearly. She enjoyed fishing, going to garage sales looking for treasures, the beauty of nature and animals and birds. She had a unique personality that allowed her to make friends with everyone she met as if they had always known one another.

She leaves her beloved husband, Harold H. Payne, Sr. with whom she had been married for 54 years. Together they raised their children: Stella (Conrad) Seim, Dorothy Payne Bowen, Harold H. (Lisa) Payne, Jr., and Bryan (Trish) Payne, her brothers: Eddie (Jeannie) Stewart, her twin brother: Benny (Nancy) Stewart and Jack (Barbara) Binegar, and, grandchildren: Jessica and Jason Bowen, Carl Jacob (Sarah) Seim, Chelsea, Trey, Jude and Trent Payne, Shayla Wheeler, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at Craig Funeral Home Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held Monday, September 18, 2017 at 11:00 am at Memorial Lutheran Church with burial to follow at Pellicer Creek Cemetery at 12:30 pm.
