Clarence E. Pellicer died at his home here Saturday morning, August 20, following an illness of several months duration. Funeral services were held at four o'clock Monday afternoon at the Pellicer Creek cemetery with Rev. O. S. Palmer officiating.  Key-McCabe had charge of funeral arrangements.

Mr. Pellicer, a native of Axson, Ga., came to Bunnell in 1914 where he was engaged in the mercantile busi­ness until recent years. He has been actively identified in both civic and county affairs during his residence here.

Mr. Pellicer served as Tax Collector for Flagler County from the creation of the County in 1917 until the latter part of 1932 when he resigned from that office. Since that time he has been dealing in real estate and contracting.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Agnes McArn Pellicer, Bunnell; two sisters, Mrs. I. H. Frier and Mrs. Della White both of Bunnell; four brothers, Paul Pellicer, Waterloo, Iowa, J. E. Pellicer, J. L. Pellicer, and P.P. Pellicer, all of Bunnell.

Serving as active pallbearers were his nephews, Hubert Frier, Claude Pellicer, Spencer White, John Rice, Leroy Pellicer, and' Fred White.
