Funeral services for Frank Bernard Powers, 43, Route 3, who died Monday afternoon in a local hospital, were held at 4 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of the Craig Funeral Home, with the Rev. Carl Franklin, pastor Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, officiating,  Burial was in Pellicer Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers were Everett Wilson, W. J. Wilson, Dewey Lee, Charles Masters, Alec Smyly and Bryan Young.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Sheets, St. Augustine; an aunt, Mrs. Manuel Farroba, Brownsville, Texas, and an uncle, Lonnie Powers, Florence, S.C.

Craig Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
