David Prevatt

Funeral services for David Eugene Prevatt, 19, Hastings, who drowned while on duty with the U.S. Army in Germany, will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, at the First Baptist Church of Hastings, with the Rev. G.L. Kirkland, pastor, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Robert G. McCormick, pastor of Christ United Methodist Church, Hastings. Burial will be in Pellicer Creek Cemetery. Full military honors win be accorded by the Military Firing Squad from Ft. Stewart, Ga.

Friends may call at the chapel of the Craig Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m., today.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Prevatt, a brother, Gary Prevatt, two sisters, Mrs. Wally Stevens, Mrs. Gail Sullivan, all of Hastings; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Walker, Palatka, and Mrs. Ethel Prevatt, Hastings.
