John R. Quigley Dies; Services To Be Friday


John R. Quigley, 54, Route 2, died late Wednesday in Veterans Hospital, Gainesville. He was a native and lifelong resident of St. Johns County.

He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, having served in World War II, and he was a plumber.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, at the chapel of the Craig Funeral Home, with the Rev. Carl A. Franklin, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Pellicer Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the Craig chapel from 7 to 9 p.m., today.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Judy Leonard, Mrs. Doris Hunter, Mrs. Mary Alice Usina, all of St. Augustine; one son, John H. Quigley, St. Augustine; two sisters, Mrs. Susie Selph, Salt Springs, Mrs. Joan Bailey, St. Augustine; three brothers, J. J., Warren and Dick Quigley, all of St. Augustine; and four grandchildren.

Craig Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
