Ellamae Sapp Simms, 78, of St.. Augustine, died April 28, 2005, at Flagler Hospital. She was a native of Fort Pierce and had resided in St. Augustine since 1978. She was a Baptist and former computer operator for the Tree of Life.

Services: Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at Craig Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Porter officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday. Burial will be at Pellicer Creek Cemetery.

Survivors: Husband, Gerald Eugene Simms, of St Augustine; daughters, Ella Mae Warrell, of Los Fresnos, Texas, Elizabeth A. Higginbotham, of St Augustine, Brenda Cruz, of Los Fresnos, Texas, Gale Daniel, of St Augustine; sons, Mark Higginbotham, of St Augustine, David Higginbotham and George Higginbotham, both of Laguna Vista, Texas; sister, Helen Bass, of Ft. Pierce; brothers, Buck Sapp, of Fort Pierce, Mutt Sapp, of Okeechobee, Wayne Sapp, of Jacksonville; 14 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren nieces and nephews.
