Dorothy Mattie Sirmans, 83, of Orange Park, died Tuesday, December 12, 2000, at Heartland Health Care Center in Orange Park.

Dorothy was born in Ocilla, Ga. and has lived in Orange Park for over forty years. She was Baptist by faith and a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Willis L. Sirmans of Nashville, Ga.; daughters, Carolyn Click of Jacksonville, Gwyned Byrd of Hastings, Vickie Stewart of East Palatka; sons, Ron Sirmans of Jacksonville, Doyle Sirmans of Daytona Beach; sister, Edith Young of Ocilla, Ga.; fifteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren.

Services will be held 2 p.m. on Friday, December 15, 2000, at Craig Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pellicer Creek Cemetery with Dr. Bobby Ritch officiating. Calling Hours are from 5-8 on Thursday at the funeral home.

Craig Funeral Home of St. Augustine is in charge of the arrangements.

Dorothy Mattie Sirmans, 83, St. Augustine, died Dec. 12, 2000, at Heartland Health Care Center, Orange Park. She was born in Ocilla, Ga., and she had resided here for over 40 years. She was of the Baptist faith.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Craig Funeral Home chapel, with Dr. Bobby Rich officiating. Burial will be in Pellicer Creek Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Willis Sirmans, Nashville, Ga.; three daughters, Carolyn Click, Jacksonville, Gwyned Byrd, Hastings, Vickie Stewart, East Palatka; two sons, Ron Sirmans, Jacksonville, Doyle Sirmans, Daytona Beach; one sister, Edith Young, Ocilla; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
