Charles F. (Charlie) Stevens, 56, of San Mateo, died June 15, 2004, at his home. He worked at Georgia-Pacific as a millwright. He was a member of the Shriner's of Hastings, and the Masonic Lodge No.183. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Services: 1 p.m. Saturday at Watts Funeral Home in San Mateo. Calling hours: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Watts Funeral Home. Burial: Pellicer Creek Cemetery, St. Augustine.

Survivors: His wife, Joyce Stevens, San Mateo; daughters, Sonya Beltron and Mary Ann Dillon, both of North Carolina; stepson, Mitch Holsenbeck, Starke; one brother, Wallace U. Stevens Jr., Hastings; one sister, Elizabeth Ann Petty, St. Augustine; one grandchild and two step-grandchildren.

Charles F. "Charlie" Stevens, 56, of San Mateo, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2004 at his home.

Charlie worked at Georgia-Pacific as a millwright. He belonged to the Shriner's, Hastings and Masonic Lodge No. 183. Charlie enjoyed fishing and hunting at every opportunity. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Vietnam War.

Survivors are his wife: Joyce Stevens of San Mateo; daughters: Sonya Beltron and Mary Ann Dillon, both of North Carolina; stepson: Mitch Holsenbeck of Starke; brother: Wallace U. Stevens, Jr. of Hastings; sister: Elizabeth Ann Petty of St. Augustine; one grandchild and two step-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, June 18, at Watts Funeral Home, San Mateo Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 19 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Pellicer Creek Cemetery in St. Johns County.
