Matthew Arnold Taylor, 43, St. Augustine, died Jan. 21, 2001, at his home. He was a lifelong resident of St. Augustine, and he was a boat carpenter, and a member of the Florida National Guard.

Memorial services will be held at 6:30 p.m., Jan. 29, 2001, at Trinity Chapel Ministries, with the Rev. Donovan Tinsley, pastor, officiating.

Survivors include one daughter, Ashley Hagan, Palm Coast; his mother, Barbara Flynt, St. Augustine; his father and stepmother, Carlyle and Helen Taylor, St. Augustine; one sister, Donna Volker, St. Augustine; and four brothers, Robert Taylor, Ralph and Robert Waldrop, all of St. Augustine, Jimmy McCellum, Daytona Beach.
