Stanley Earl Tenney Sr., 70, Federal Point, died Tuesday at Linville Falls, N.C.., after a short illness. The life­long Federal Point resident was a retired carpenter. Mr. Tenney was a member of Morocco Temple Shrine, Jacksonville; Hastings Lodge 183, Free & Accepted Masons; and St. Augustine York Rite Bodies.

He is survived by his wife, Carrie B.; a son, Stanley Earl Jr., Federal Point; two daughters., Mrs. Doyle Moody, Palatka, and Barbara Tenney, Marion, N.C.; five brothers, Robert, Long Island, N.Y., Donald, Ashtabula, Ohio, Frank, Arcadia, and John F. and Harold, both of Hastings; two sisters, Charlotte Cosgrove, Jacksonville and Marion Stevens, Melbourne; and l2 grandchildren.

Services will be at 4 p.m. today in Pellicer Creek Cemetery, with the Rev. Joseph Noll officiating. In lieu of flowers, memo­rials may be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.

Johnson-Davis Funeral Home is in charge.
