Mrs. D. Wells Dies; Rites Are Set Friday


Mrs. Daisy Stoddard Wells, 73, 8 Leonardi St., died Wed­nesday evening at her home. A native of Michigan, she had resided here since 1935, moving here from Hastings.

She was the wife of the late Wimbley H. Wells.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, at the chapel of the Craig Funeral Home, with the Rev. R L. Pringle officiating. Burial will be in Pellicer Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the Craig chapel from 7 to 9 p.m., today.

Survivors include four sons, RD., B. E., W. D and R L Wells, all of St. Augustine; two daughters, Mrs. Genevieve Davis, Leesburg, Mrs. K. W. (Helen) Harvey, Palatka; two sisters, Mrs. Mae Barnes, Mrs. Gertrude Nilles, both of Jacksonville; 28 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Craig Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Mrs. Daisy Stoddard Wells, 73, 8 Leonardi St., who died Wed­nesday evening at her home, were held at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of the Craig Funeral Home, with the Rev. R. L. Pringle officiating. Pallbearers were William W. Wells, David L. Wells, Michael Wells, Benjamin E. Wells Jr., George Osteen, and Richard Davis. Burial was in Pellicer Creek Cemetery.
